PEO delivers its technical exams in partnership with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC), which publishes the detailed examination schedule. The Fall 2026 schedule was updated on August 7, 2026.

PEO technical exams are part of the academic assessment process for applicants whose engineering education does not meet the applicable Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB) requirements. Depending on their academic assessment, applicants may be assigned a Confirmatory Examination Program (CEP) or Specific Examination Program (SEP).
For the Fall/Winter 2026 session, PEO states that registration opened on June 22, 2026, with a registration deadline of July 17, 2026. Technical exams are written remotely by computer.
Candidates should also pay close attention to their exam instructions. EGBC notes that some exams may be scheduled over multiple days because of examination volumes, and candidates will receive their specific exam date and time from eProctor.
